So close, Elijah will roll from his back to side. Any day now he will go all the way. You are getting so big, baby.
Well, our son would nurse all day long if possible, so we thought it was a good idea to introduce rice cereal. He is an eatn' champ, he loved it! His Grammy, Grampa, and Mimi even stopped by to see his newest trick. Shortly after "dinner" he fell asleep and slept all night long. Hallelujah!
This is how I found our angel in the church nursery when I went to pick him up, how cute. Dedication Sunday was quite exhausting, waking up early, standing on stage in front of all those people, and all of those pictures!
Mr. Jesky came to nursery to play his guitar for all of the babies and it put Elijah right to sleep.
He loves music.
Patrick and I had the privilege of dedicating our son to the Lord on Mother's Day. We chose Mark 10:13-14 People were bringing little children to Jesus to have Him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he was indignant, "He said to them, let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Patrick and I pray that we live our lives in a way that is good and pleasing to our savior so that we do not hinder our son in knowing Christ at an early age. We vow to raise him in a godly home and are so thankful to God for blessing us with this amazing responsibility.
Is there anything sweeter? I had to wake up early Saturday morning, and couldn't resist taking a pic of my sweet boys snoozing away. Elijah spent the entire day with his Dad, while I went to a Mother's day brunch and worked an event for Chocolate dreams (pics of that are soon to come). It sounds like they had a fun day!
