i haven't been blogging because patrick and i have seriously been working day and night on the house, things are really moving along. here's an update on the kitchen/ living/ dining area.
both of these walls are out now, they
separated the kitchen and dining room from the living room
we took down a major support wall, so we decided to support it with a steal beam for a more interesting modern/ industrial look. we now have new primed drywall and recessed lighting.
now it's completely open. patrick is currently working on getting all of the floors in and i am painting my heart out.
the space in the back will soon be a bright white kitchen

this courtyard is one of our favorite things about this house, it's going to be a very cozy place to relax someday
